Guys! I am so excited today- I am officially on my holiday vacation TOMORROW! I am sure many of you were off work this week for Christmas, but healthcare doesn’t stop, so I was back to work this past Tuesday! I hated leaving my family Christmas Day, but someone has to take care of those sick kiddos!
I decided to take off the first week of the year and personally I think it is the best way to start off a brand new year! Many people have asked what I am doing on my week off and here’s my answer- NOTHING! I will be taking down our Christmas decorations, cleaning, and planning out new content for you all! I also plan on getting back on the workout train after being pretty lax about it over the last few months. I used to workout very consistently up until I started this blog 2 months ago- now I am lucky if I make it to the gym once per week! I know, I know… I need to start going more!
Anyways, today I want to share my most favorite sweater that I have found this winter. I have received many questions about this particular sweater, so I decided to write a quick little post about it!
No joke, I have worn this sweater SO MUCH since I ordered it on Black Friday. I have worn it to coffee with friends, running errands, and on Christmas Eve. I love that this sweater can work for both casual and dressy looks. In the past, I have paired it with distressed, ripped jeans for a casual look and with my Spanx faux leather leggings and booties for a dressier look. Love when I can find one piece of clothing that can easily be mix and matched with other pieces in my closet to change up my look!
Chunky sweaters are always some of my favorites during the winter, but this one in particular has such amazing texture and is so soft! I also like that it is a little on the longer side. It is definitely TTS and I am wearing an XS. The high turtleneck doesn’t bother me too much, but I know many people who hate high neck sweaters (my mom cannot stand anything high up on her neck!). You can easily roll the neck down a little so it isn’t as high, which is how I have worn this sweater a few times.
I linked the sweater below, along with some options to create both casual and dressier looks!
Since sweaters are basically my uniform for the fall/winter, I also linked some of my favorite sweater picks below!
Lastly, as I am sure some of you know, there are some MAJOR sales going down right now. Two of my favorites are the Half Yearly Sale at Nordstrom and the End of the Year Sale at Revolve. I wanted to share some of my picks with you all as I am sure you may have received some holiday giftcards!
I hope you all have enjoyed this holiday week and I wish you nothing but happiness, success, and love in the new year! Have so much fun celebrating NYE and I will see you in the new year! -A
