Would you guys believe I still had winter/holiday décor on my dining room table up until two days before Easter?! I know, I was super last minute updating my table and giving it a pretty spring face lift, but it worked out perfectly just in time for Easter.
Now, I know spring and Easter means a lot of bright, pastel colors, but I will be honest- that is just not me. I tend to stick with neutral colors and then add pops of green with fresh florals. I think it is best to start with a neutral palate and then build with a little color.
For instance, to build this tablescape, I started with a neutral table runner (almost like a burlap color) and added cream-colored dishes. Super simple people!
I switched out my more wintery, tall silver candlesticks for glass candle holders in varying heights. I tend to buy candle holders in an odd amount, as I don’t like the table to be perfectly symmetric. I also included small glass votives with a gold rim for a little extra touch. I topped each candle holder with white pillar candles and added tealight candles to the votives.
Now, for the florals- they make such a difference! I decided to add a pop of color by adding some greenery to the table, but I stayed with my neutral theme and created a large arrangement of white hydrangeas for the centerpiece. I was seriously considering creating a centerpiece of light pink tulips because I thought it would be so pretty for Easter, but the hydrangeas won my heart- aren’t they beautiful?!
If you need a little more color in your life, you can certainly add more color by using bright florals to decorate the table. That’s what is so great about starting off with a neutral table- you can add little pops of color to mix it up! By simply changing the florals of this table, I could easily create an entirely different look!
I included the pieces I used to decorate this table below! I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter and I cannot wait to continue sharing my home with you all. As always, thank you for reading and sharing! -A
