Well ladies, it is that time of the year- FALL! The fall season is my absolute favorite- the weather gets cooler, leaves change, football returns, and the clothes are pretty good too haha!
My home décor does a lot of changing from September to December- first I bring out the fall/Halloween décor, then I switch over to Thanksgiving (just a little different), and then onto Christmas. You guys just waitttttt for Christmas at the Anglin house- you’re going to love it!
Today, I wanted to share a peek inside (and outside) our home and how I have decorated for fall. This year, I decided to go for a soft, natural look and incorporated live greenery with real pumpkins. Overall, the color palette is very “soft” with white, light green, and light orange.
For the outside, I purchased mums and pumpkins and arranged them to create a welcoming entrance. I love the pop of color mums can add and think they are so pretty- not to mention, they come in so many colors! This wreath is a few years old, but is still one of my favorites! I use wide, wired ribbon (keeps its shape better) to hang it on the door.
Inside our home, I pretty much covered the place in white pumpkins and silver dollar eucalyptus haha! I purchased the silver dollar eucalyptus locally (around $10-$15 per bundle) and arranged it on our mantle, dining room table, and created an arrangement with it. Many local grocery stores also carry this! Some of you asked me how long the eucalyptus would last- after about a week without water, it starts to dry and lighten slightly in color, but overall it looks the same. I plan on keeping it up for the next month or so and may replace it right before Thanksgiving.
All of the pumpkins were purchased locally as well! I love seeing the different color and size variations of them- some pumpkins are crazy looking!
And that’s it- pretty simple this year! I included some of the favorite fall décor items below, so you could recreate these looks!
Love this, Lex. Thanks for sharing!!
Of course! Hope it gave you some inspiration!
