A little over a week ago, Scott and I took some family photos for the holidays! We haven’t taken professional photos in nearly five years- literally since we got married- oops! We also wanted to include Luna in our photos since she is basically our canine child. We quickly learned she isn’t the most photogenic pup around haha!
I also have never sent out cards for the holidays and I was determined to finally get my act together and send some out this year. Now….I just need to figure out everyone’s addresses hahah!
I know so many of you all may be planning to take holiday photos, so I wanted to share a little inspiration- we decided to take more fall photos than actually holiday photos, so I tried to incorporate rich autumn hues like oranges and browns.
Scott is an avid outdoorsmen and spends most of his weekends outside. His style is certainly more laid-back and rugged, which I love. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the boy looks great in a suit and knows how to dress up, but I prefer him in jeans, a button down, and some good boots. That’s my kinda guy 😉
I didn’t want to be too matchy-matchy, but I did want to pull some of the colors of Scott’s shirt and incorporate them into my look. I styled this simple cowl neck sweater with my new favorite jeans and a gorgeous scarf. To dress up the look, I added a pair of nude heels.
I know that shopping for guys can be difficult, especially finding something you both agree on, so I included some of Scott’s favorites below (don’t worry- they have all been approved by me!).
Men’s Tops
Men’s Pants and Boots
I hope you all enjoyed this post and I wish you the most magical holiday season! As always, thank you for reading the sharing! -A
