Hello sweet friends! I mentioned to you earlier today that wedding season will be in FULL force next month for the Anglins. We already had one wedding in Miami the second week of January (no complaints about that!) and we have three weddings in March. Thankfully, they are all in Tennessee, so we do not have to travel too far, but it definitely makes for busy weekends!
I know many of ya’ll requested some ideas of what to wear to a wedding this time of the year and into the spring. Well, I have you covered! Generally speaking, I typically wear dresses to weddings, but every once in a while I will wear a jumpsuit. I also think a pretty skirt and top would be so cute! Around this time of the year, I usually opt for more light, pastel-colored dresses, but you can never go wrong with a black dress!
The lace midi dress that I am wearing above has quickly become one of my favorite dresses in my closet. Not only is it flattering and classy, but I love that it comes in SO many colors- I have it in black and this dark blush and love both! Online, it says to size up two sizes as it runs small, but I actually ordered my true size (XS) and it fits perfectly. I know this might sound confusing, but I can only tell you guys my experience with the sizing of this dress. The good news is that the retailer, Nordstrom, does provide free returns, so if the dress doesn’t work out there’s no worries! I cannot recommend this dress enough and seriously think all of you should have one in your closet haha!
I included some of my other favorite dresses (and heels!) below. As a note, each of the heels shown come in LOTS of different colors, not just the nude colors you can see! Although fun-colored heels are so cute, I tend to opt for nude heels as they will go with everything. The heels that I am wearing above have been around for a few years and I have worn them so much! Again, I cannot recommend them enough!
