If you are anything like me, you’re not the biggest fan of shaving- I mean it’s so annoying… you have to spend lots of $$$ on razors and it can add so much time to my shower routine. I feel like I have tried so many different brands, but have never really felt happy with the results- either the shave isn’t close enough, the blades dull after a few shaves, or I find myself cutting my skin! Everyone has different skin types and hair, so I know that there are many women out there who utilize waxing or lasers to remove hair- I have never been a fan of either and have always stuck with shaving.
Recently, I came across the Billie razor – pretty sure I saw it as an ad somewhere and the colorful packaging immediately caught my eye! I mean, I’m like most girls and love an aesthetically pleasing product 🙂 I clicked onto the ad and this is what I learned-
WHAT IS THE BILLIE RAZOR?
The Billie razor is a subscription razor that has 5 sharp blades (made in the United States) that are encased in 360° of charcoal shave soap that allows the razor to float over your skin. They are dermatologically approved and extra gentle on sensitive skin. You pick your color (I opted for blush!), how often you shave, any added products you might want, and how often you want product and razor heads shipped to you. Literally the easiest process ever! The $9 starter kit included the Billie handle, magnetic holder, and two 5-blade cartridges. Four replacement cartridges will be delivered for $9 as well whenever you need them! At half the price of the competition, it seemed like a no brainer to me!
MY EXPERIENCE
After I received my delivery, I was happy to open the most fun, colorful box- the Billie brand is all about some color! My blush pink razor was super cute and I immediately applied the magnetic holder to my shower wall! I also added their shave cream to my order and couldn’t wait to use all the products!
Okay, let’s talk about the actual shave- the first time I used this razor, I was literally SHOCKED at how smooth my legs were afterwards. Shaving my legs was so easy (normally, I have to shave slowly to minimize irritation and cuts)- I was able to shave so quickly and it definitely felt like the razor was ‘floating’ on my skin. I loved the addition of the shaving cream too- it smelled heavenly and made my shaving experience that much better!
WHO IS THIS FOR?
If you are someone who is fed up with using razors that are expensive and ineffective, than this would be a great option for you! Not only is this subscription more cost-effective than purchasing store-bought razors, but the Billie razor outshines any other razor on the market!
