Another reason why fall is my favorite season is that it is the start of lots of family get-togethers and holiday events. With Halloween right around the corner, I know that Thanksgiving and Christmas will be following shortly after- this makes me so happy!
Tonight, I am having a little Halloween-themed dinner with my family and wanted to show you how I have decorated our bar cart for the spooky season! I am in charge of candy and desserts, so I really decided to go all out- plus I have two teenage brothers who like to eat, so I needed to be prepared!
When planning the decor, I always try to stick to a theme. For this bar cart, I mainly wanted to focus on black and white colors- with pops of candy, of course! All of the serving plates and containers are within the black and white color family and I feel like this really makes the entire look very cohesive.
I found many of these items at my local Walmart– shopping was so easy and affordable! They also have an amazing Halloween entertaining section online with fast and easy shipping- many items are eligible for next-day arrival! This feature is perfect for those of us who are super busy and may not have the time to run into the store!
As far as desserts, I decided to make ghost cookies (so easy!) and chocolate-dipped pretzels. Obviously, I had to include some candy as well because it wouldn’t be Halloween without it! Candy can be so expensive, but it is always super affordable at Walmart. They also have a great selection of both chocolate and fruity favorites!
For those of you planning Halloween festivities, I hope this gave you a little inspiration! Parties can be so expensive, but by shopping at Walmart, I was able to keep this very affordable (and super cute!). Happy Halloween my pretties!
