With Valentine’s right around the corner, I wanted to give you girls some ideas for that special guy in your life! Over half of you said that you typically don’t buy big gifts for Valentine’s- instead, you have a date night out, cook dinner together at home, or create a more ‘homemade’ gift from the heart. A lot of you also said that you gift each other with ‘experiences’ like a brewery tour, cooking class, or couples massage.
For Scott and I, we typically just exchange cards and will have a little date night out. When we were dating we definitely got each other gifts, but now that we are married we value more heartfelt gifts versus an actual item. I LOVE when he gets me a card and writes a sweet note inside- I have literally kept every card he has ever given me and I love looking back and reading them.

I’m not sure if any of you have adventurous, outdoorsy men in your life, but Scott is quite the outdoorsman. I typically have such a hard time thinking of ‘outdoorsy’ gifts he would like- I mean, I’m not the most outdoorsy gal out there haha!
