So excited to share this recipe with you all today! My mom has been making this forever and it is definitely one of our favorites! It was a staple on Christmas morning and my mom would often make it for us on our birthdays! If you have little ones you can definitely get them involved by having them roll the dough into balls and toss into the cinnamon-sugar mixture!
Monkey Bread
Ingredients
- 3 cans biscuits
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Mix cinnamon and 2/3 cup of the sugar into a bowl
- Cut biscuits into quarters, roll into balls, and toss into the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
- Add rolled biscuits to a buttered bundt pan
- In saucepan, melt butter and stir in remaining sugar and vanilla. Bring to a boil and then pour over biscuits.
- Bake for 30 minutes and let cool completely
- Flip onto a cake stand/plate and ta da! Enjoy!
