Are you guys ready for the most delicious fall dessert?! These country apple dumplings are absolutely divine and literally so easy to make! Everyone raves about these- even the little ones! Serve warm with a little vanilla ice cream…and prepare to be in heaven.
Country Apple Dumplings
*This recipe makes 16
Ingredients:
- 2 cans crescent rolls (separate into 16 triangles)
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 1 12oz can Mountain Dew (or 7up)
- 2 large Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350F. Butter 9×13 dish. Wrap each apple slice in a crescent and roll up. Place in bottom of buttered pan.
2. Melt butter over med heat. Add sugar, vanilla, cinnamon. Heat and stir until slightly thickened. Pour over apples. Pour the soda in the corners and around the crescents – NOT ON TOP! Bake for 30 minutes.
