So excited that my mom is back today with a delicious (and easy!) recipe. We love Chuy’s around here (their fajitas are insane), but I think we all agree that it’s their creamy jalapeño dip/dressing that really takes things up a notch. We always order the largest one because I swear we put it on everything! Perfect for a marinade, salad dressing, chip dip- literally anything! We are actually making tacos and rice tonight and will have this dip on the side if anyone wants to put on top!
Copycat Chuy’s Creamy Jalapeno Dip
Ingredients
- 16 oz container of sour cream *can sub with greek yogurt for extra protein
- 1 oz package of dry ranch dressing mix
- 2 jalapeños, roughly chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup fresh cilantro
- Juice of one lime
- 2-5 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Combine roughly chopped jalapeño, garlic, and cilantro in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped. *Can also do this by hand, but a food processor makes it a bit easier!
- Add lime juice, sour cream, and ranch mix. Pulse until combined.
- Slowly add milk until you reach your desired consistency (we like ours more thin!).
This refrigerates beautifully and is the perfect addition to your next taco night! Like we mentioned above, it is also a great salad dressing, marinade, or chip dip! We hope you enjoy and if you end up making tag me on IG- my mom and I love to see what recipes you all are loving!
