Let me let you in on a secret- one thing I have learned is that if you’re having trouble putting a look together, just throw on things that are the same color, or at least in the same color family. All white, all black, all camel- no matter what you’re wearing it will look chic. Also, neutral colors will NEVER go out of style- unlike T.Swift’s boyfriends, these color trends are here to stay. I can promise that if you invest in things that are neutral in color, you’ll be able to wear them season after season.
One of my most favorite colors for fall is that light brown/camel/caramel color- you know what I’m talking about. I think it looks so good on all skin tones and it is so on-trend. Today, I am sharing with you the coziest, most comfortable sweater dress in that ‘coffee with a lot of cream’ color.
This Madewell sweater dress is so good- the fit, the color, the sleeve detail, just all of it. I always get a little nervous with sweater dresses because I am only 5′ 2″ and I feel like many are just too long/big for my more petite frame. Not the case with this sweater dress- it’s not overly fitted, but it doesn’t completely swallow me. The sleeve is a very slight bell sleeve with a little tie that you can either knot or tie in a bow like I did in the photos. For size reference, I am wearing an XS.
Okay, let’s talk about the boots. I don’t know what it is, but OTK boots add so much to an outfit. They really give your look a little va-voom- am I the only one who feels that way? Anyways, these boots by Franco Sarto are stunning and I cannot wait to wear them with absolutely everything. They are available in 4 different colors (I want them all!), but these are the Sandstone Suede color.
If you have been following the blog, you’ll know that this bag from Vici is such a good basic. Since it is a neutral color, you can easily pair this bag with any of your outfits- it will literally go with anything!
The top necklace I am wearing is from Kendra Scott and can be found here. The bottom neck lace is from a local Nashville boutique called Amelia Styles– if you’re local, you should definitely check it out!
I have linked all the products below, along with some similar items at different price points! What do you think about the monochromatic look? Thanks for reading and sharing! -A
