Hey guys! I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones! Now on to the next big holiday- NYE! Are you ready?
Believe me, I love a little glitz and sparkle as much as any other gal, but I am debating on leaving the sequins at home this year. We have plans to hang out with some friends on NYE this year, so nothing too fancy. So instead of showing up for a low-key friends night looking like a disco ball (which is still amaze!), I am planning wearing this dark floral number!
As a side note- I am not really into prints. Very rarely do I find a print that I like, especially in the floral category. Floral can be tricky as it can be easy to end up looking like a curtain/tablecloth circa 1972 or like you’re rocking your Grandmother’s vintage dress.
I came across this dress and absolutely felt in love. This dark floral print is subtle and moody-perfect for the winter! The dress has a higher neckline with a little tie that can be left in a bow or undone.
To complete this look, I added a waist-cinching belt- and before you think, well dang girl- is that a Gucci belt? Nope, it’s a dupe. Fantasy world goals would be to own a REAL one, but this is the real world people! A fellow blogger tipped me off on this amazing steal- guys, this belt is less than $15 and could fool anyone! The belt is here and you can even get it within 2 days if you have Amazon Prime (seriously, the ABSOLUTE BEST!).
I completed this look with my fave OTK black boots for a little va-va-voom factor, my go-to Rebbeca Minkoff bag, and some overly dramatic earrings.

Now, if you have fabulous plans for NYE and are looking for some sparkle, I got you covered too! Number one, I am jealous if you are doing something super fabulous and number two, I am obsessed with all these glam picks! Seriously, it was tough to not buy a few of these fabulous pieces, but I kept telling myself that I don’t have anywhere to wear these!
Whatever you end up doing for NYE- whether it’s hitting the town hard or just relaxing on the couch with a bottle of wine (or just going to bed at 9 PM), I hope you have an absolute blast. I am looking forward to 2018 and cannot wait to see what is in store! Happy New Year loves! And as always, THANK YOU for reading and sharing! -A
