Praise the good Lord! Our hot water is back on- excuse me while I go shower for the next 45 minutes…. haha! Seriously though, being without hot water for the last 48 hours has made me realize how much I take it for granted and I am so thankful for it to be back! Also, I am thankful that none of our pipes burst- my dad kept going on and on about how this could lead to serious flooding in our home (that’s a dad for ya, always bringing the truth!).
Also, I am very thankful that all my pots can go back in their rightful place in the kitchen- Scott had been filling pots with nearly-boiling water and taking them into the shower to basically take a sponge bath. Poor guy- he was in the military, so I don’t think the whole ‘no hot water’ thing was that big of a deal to him, but even he couldn’t make it through a bone-chilling shower.
Okay, now let’s get to the good stuff. I am so excited to share my HANDS DOWN FAVORITE distressed jeans with you all today. There is a disclaimer* here though- these jeans come in petite sizing only, but no worries for my tall girls- I got ya’ll covered too!
Little bit about me- I am 5’2” (on a good day) and literally have the absolute worst time trying to find jeans. Most regular jeans out there are not made for petite gals like myself, so I either have to roll the bottoms or get them hemmed (more $$$). All in all, jean shopping is pretty miserable….but then I found the most amazing jeans and fell in love.
I saw a fellow petite blogger, Olivia Rink (she is amazing- check her out), wearing these jeans and really liked them. I decided to take a chance and order them online- which is a major no no for me with jeans, I typically have a strict ‘must try on’ policy with them! I made an exception this time, as I felt like they were at a great price point and knew that if they didn’t work out then I could just return them.
The day came and the jeans arrived- and they were everything and more! I tried them on and they were the perfect length- which has literally NEVER happened in my life. They were super comfortable and I loved the distressed details. I actually took a page out of Olivia Rink’s book and ripped the distressed areas a little more to open them, as I liked that a little better. I loved that they were high waisted and how comfortable they were! Seriously, I am hooked and plan on ordering some more from this brand! If you are petite and are on the hunt for a perfect pair of jeans- these are it!
Okay, so you’re not petite and you’re bored with this whole post? Don’t worry, I’ve got you too! I have been eyeing these jeans FOREVER, but in my heart I just know they will not look amazing on me as I am just too short. I know that if I order these, I will definitely have to take them to be altered as they will be too long. I also know that these jeans are ALL THE RAGE in the blogging world- literally everyone has them and raves about them! So, if you’re of average height or on the tall side, then I would give these a shot!
