Well spring is officially here and one trend that comes back year after year is floral- no, I am not talking about vintage floral that your grandmother may have worn decades ago- although, it may be back in style at some point!
Today, I am styling these bright-colored, floral print, wide leg pants that literally feel like walking around in pajamas all day. Talk about comfortable! They are made with the softest fabric and have the prettiest beading on the bottom of them. I love the addition of the tie at the waist to help cinch everything in! The colors are so vibrant and fun- definitely a super trendy piece to wear that will bring you a lot of attention!
I paired this with a simple white crop top- isn’t the bow detailing on the shoulders so cute? These pants definitely need to be paired with a cropped top/bodysuit or a very fitted shirt that can be tucked into the pants. Since the pants are so wide-legged, you need to balance the look with a more form-fitting, tight top.
Style Tips
For my petite ladies out there- high-waisted wide leg pants can really help to lengthen your legs! My photographer kept saying how long my legs looked in these pants- it’s just an optical illusion!
Wide leg pants can quickly look too baggy and large on you if the hem is too long. To be honest, I could probably get an inch taken off the bottom of these pants, but I didn’t have time for any alterations before this shoot. You want the hem of the pants to *barely* grace the ground- if the pants are too long or too short, the entire look will appear slightly off. As a petite lady, my alteration lady has become one of my best friends ha!
