Nursery
Happy Monday! I am so excited to share Gray’s nursery with you all! For those of you who may be new around here and not familiar with our pregnancy journey, I will link that post here. You can also check the ‘Baby Anglin’ highlight on Instagram for more info!
Once we found out we pregnant, we debated finding out the gender, but ultimately decided to find out at our 20 week appointment. Although Scott and I knew the gender, we decided to keep it between the two of us- we wanted to surprise our family and friends at the delivery!
As far as the nursery design, I knew I wanted to keep things very neutral overall and add pops of ‘boy’ touches. Ultimately, I wanted to create a calming, serene space that not only would work for this little baby boy, but also for another baby (no matter the gender) down the road.
I hope this serves as inspiration for those of you who may be expecting! I have linked everything I possibly can- some items were purchased from Home Goods/TJ Maxx and I was unable to link, but I sourced similar items online for you!
The wall color is Sherwinn Williams ‘Anew Gray’ (our entire house is this color) and the wallpaper can be found here. We ordered three rolls of wallpaper and had a little leftover!
The larger furniture pieces including the crib, dresser, sconces, mirror, glider + ottoman, chandelier, cloud mobile, and floor lamp were all purchased from Restoration Hardware. I included the link for each below:
- Bellina Arched Conversion Crib
- Haylan Wide Dresser
- Ava Dresser Mirror
- Antiqued Wishbone Sconce
- Ellis Swing-Arm Floor Lamp
- Classic Slope Arm Slipcovered Glider + Ottoman (fabric: belgian linen, color: dove)
- Wool Felt Cloud Mobile
- Dauphine Wood Empire Chandelier
- Velvet Curtains
I absolutely love the way this space turned out and I know baby Gray will love it too! I cannot wait to rock him in the glider and read to him 🙂 For now, he is sleeping in our room in a bassinet, but eventually we will transition him to his crib. I love that this space is so calming and peaceful- and that it can easily be used for a baby of either gender. I added the cowhide rug and more “boy” prints to the floating shelf gallery wall, but for a girl, I would have added more pink touches and more feminine artwork (florals, etc).
I included all items I could link below:
I hope this post was helpful to those of you who may be designing a nursery- if you have any questions, feel free to message me in a comment below! As always, thank you for reading and sharing -A
